Well, I outlasted the summer job and escaped with only minor lacerations, puncture wounds, and a few bruises. I swam through blackberry thickets in Mississippi, slipped and slid up and down the mountains of Tennessee, narrowly outwitted the sherrif in Florida, and waded through bayous where alligators swam in Texas. On the last week, I barely avoided heat stroke. I call all that an accomplishment.

Now I'm back in school where the dangers are much, much worse. Why, just yesterday I saw a really, really, really, ............................................. really ................ really cute girl.

Ha, ha! Not really really...

I'm exaggerating everything.

Anyway, my roommate this year is a quiet, reserved kid. So, maybe I won't do so much late night partying and pranking. Yeah, right. Har, har.

I am more than ready for classes to start. I just need some textbooks, I suppose.

As for art, look for me somewhere behind you. I'll be bringing up the rear. If my friends don't drag me away, maybe I'll get back into it. I have a sketch or two started already.
